Night Garden

13. February 2017

The reception for my exhibition was a splash! I was overwhelmed by the warm support from Lowellian artists and art supporters. Thanks go out to Mike Dailey and Lindsey Parker for making it happen! All 23 paintings will be on display until March 4th so if you missed out on the reception you still have time to see it.

Having a solo show while in Lowell was one of my goals this year and I am super happy to have met this goal. This is just the beginning for this year. There are a few things on my list, such as submitting to an art prize ( I already have my eye set on one) as well as continuing to submit to galleries and a couple of art fairs…but one of the things I really want to make happen this year is to introduce a new branch of my work ( more to do with fun family friendly colourful characters). I have my heart set on a writing partner for this project and I hope she accepts the project and works on this with me. But until all of this happens, I really should take a break; so I am off to California for a week, make some experiences, be inspired and then its back to a new body of work!

IT'S ANOTHER YEAR!

8. January 2017

Another year has gone by with a blink of the eye. Most of the year was super productive for me full of creative projects and lots of painting–18 paintings. There were also nice relaxing breaks in between like an unforgettable trip to Iceland with my partner and one of my closest friends, followed by 3 full weeks of creative vacay in Munich catching up with old friends and meeting new ones, and managing to make a bit of art for Munich Artists during that time. So I was very grateful for 2016. It wasn't all bad for me. This year will probably be an extremely edgy year for world politics, but Iike most artists, I will try to knuckle out any frustrations through creativity. Art really does heal. Without it, I would be a right mess. So to start off the year, I am honoured to participate in Parallels, an exhibition of Lowell Artists at the Davis Gallery in Worcester, MA. I am truly excited about this show. If you happen to be in the area, drop by! The opening is on January 26th 6 - 8 pm at the Davis Gallery 44 Portland St, Worcester, MA snow date Feb. 2

Hot off the Press!

9. November 2016

Munich Stories is fresh off the press and it is chock full of soul soothing goodness...prose and art by Munich influenced, inspired artists. The reading and book launch is this Saturday at the Munich Readery. I will be there in spirit 😁 Also, I am happy to announce that I will be working on the layout design for the 2017 edition with Munich Artists as well!

Upcoming Book Launch and project!

I am proud to announce that my month long collaboration with horror fiction writer Steve Toase has come to an end and our efforts will be published and launched this November 12 in a collection of curated collaborations between 12 Munich artists and writers. The book is edited and published by Emmy Horstkamp of BCA Munich Artists.

Currently I also started working with Bloxxlabs Studios in Bavaria, Germany. I am now part of an art crew for an upcoming video game…but the new series of 20 or so paintings is still in development and I plan to have it ready for a solo show in February here in Lowell. No rest for the wicked ;)
